CAVS JB-199 IV Server Location

The CAVS JB-199 IV servers will be maintained and operated at CAVS facilities in California and Washington DC. The server locations will be further expanded as the need grows, first possible location being in Honolulu, HI.

Dealers and distributors who are maintaining, supplying, or operating a karaoke venue can come into our website CAVSKARAOKE.com and reserve a designated time slot for karaoke events. The events can be scheduled with details on

  • Date and Time
  • Photos, descriptions, promotions (special menus, discounts, etc.)
  • Admission Fees and payment
  • Registration and approval
  • Song selection and Play control for guests
  • Open (public) or closed (private)
  • Follow up email reminder

At the home page, click on the Login at the top right corner.

Login following the popup screen. If it is your first time, select to Register and complete the form in the popup screen.

Back at the home page, click on the HOST AN EVENT button at the top.

The following Submit form will appear. Fill out the form and submit. Your request will be reviewed and replied via email within 24 hours.

At the home page, go to MY BOOKINGS to manage your event.

A popup screen for My Profile will appear showing your account profile. Click on the Events button.

Under My Events, you will see the events that you are hosting. Click on My Event Bookings button.

Under Recent Bookings, you will see the bookings for your event that requires your attention. Here you can choose to approve or decline the bookings. Upon your selection, an email notice will automatically go out to those who submitted the bookings.

You can also see under Transactions the payment record of the bookings if the event requires an admission fee. The admission fee is set in the Submit Form.

The event can be edited in this page. When a change is made, the event will be delisted as pending until a new approval.

How to connect to Zoom Meeting and CAVS JB-199 IV

Connecting to Zoom and CAVS Online

Host

An approval email for your event request will come from Admin as follows.

2.1 Start the Zoom Meeting by clicking on the URL shown in the email.

2.2 The following Zoom screen will appear asking you to sign in. Press the “Sign in to Start” button. (Note that the Zoom screen may directly take you to the Step 2.5 below.)

2.3 You will find the Zoom Sign In ID and Password in the event approval email from the Admin as below.

2.4 Input the ID and password. Click on the “Sign In” button.

2.5 The Zoom screen that appears next will depend on whether the Zoom App is already installed or not in your device.

2.5.A When the Zoom App is already installed, the following screen appears. Click the “Open Zoon Meeting” button and go to Step 2.9.

2.5.B When the Zoom App is not installed, the following screen will appear. Click the “Download Now” button.

2.6. The Zoom App will begin to download. When done, click on the downloaded file to install.

2.7 The Zoom App will begin to install as below.

2.8 When the installation is complete, the Zoom App will automatically start as below.

2.9 The following screen will appear. Press the Join with Computer Audio button.

2.10 If the Zoom Meeting screen appears without a video input, click on the camera icon at the bottom left of the screen to unblock the video input.

2.11 The Zoom Meeting screen will show the video input of your camera.

3.1 In the event approval email from Admin, click on the CAVS JB-199 IV Join IP.

3.2 It will open the CAVS JB-199 IV Customer Interface in a new window.

3.3 Unmute the sound by clicking on the audio icon at the top right corner. You can adjust the volume level (0 – 100) relative to the singing voices coming through the Zoom Meeting

3.4 Next click on Title to display the song list.

3.5 You will be asked for a Join Code.

3.6 Find the Join Code in the event approval email from Admin.

3.7 Insert the Join Code and press “Join” button to unlock the screen to the song list.

Two screens, Zoom Meeting and CAVS JB-199 IV, are opened for the event. This section describes how to best position the screens in case you have a single monitor or dual monitors.

4.1 Single monitor –
Clicking on the Zoom icon in the taskbar, you have the Zoom Meeting screen.

Clicking on the browser icon in the taskbar, you have the CAVS JB-199 IV screen.

Shrink both screens by dragging on the corners to share the single monitor as follows.

You will notice that the buttons in the CAVS JB-199 IV screen is making the CDG (lyrics) screen cut off and small. Uncheck the Desktop button at the bottom left corner for a tablet mode.

The CAVS JB-199 IV screen will show in the tablet mode.

You are now ready for your event.

4.2 Dual monitors –
It is ideal to display the two screens in two monitors set at Extended mode. Click on the Zoom icon in the taskbar and move the Zoom Meeting screen into the monitor #1.

Click on the browser icon in the taskbar and move the CAVS JB-199 IV screen into the monitor #2.

Together, the two monitors will display the Zoome Meeting and the CAVS JB-199 IV.

You are now ready for your event.

Guest

A booking approval email will come from the event host as follows.

2.1 Join the Zoom Meeting by clicking on the URL shown in the email.

2.2 The Zoom screen that appears next will depend on whether the Zoom App is already installed or not in your device.

2.2.A When the Zoom App is already installed, the following screen appears. Click the “Open Zoon Meeting” button and go to Step 2.6.

2.2.B When the Zoom App is not installed, the following screen will appear. Click the “Download Now” button.

2.3 The Zoom App will begin to download. When done, click on the downloaded file to install.

2.4 The Zoom App will begin to install as below.

2.5 When the installation is complete, the Zoom App will automatically start as below.

2.6 The following screen will appear asking you to wait for the host to let you in.

2.7 When you are admitted by the host, the screen will automatically change as follows. Click on “Join with Computer Audio” button.

2.8 The Zoom Meeting screen will appear with the host and any other guests who joined before you. In this example, there are no other guests. Your video will only appear as blank at the top center of the screen. Click on the camera icon at the bottom left of the screen to unblock the camera.

2.9 Your video will appear at the top center of the screen. Press the View button.

2.10 From the pull downp menu, select Gallery View.

2.11 Your picture will now appear in the gallery view with the host and other guests. In this example, there is only the host.

3.1 In the booking approval email from the event host, click on the CAVS JB-199 IV Join IP.

3.2 It will open the CAVS JB-199 IV Customer Interface in a new window.
